AT JUDGMENT, WILL GOD JUDGE ROYAL FATHERS DIFFERENTLY FROM OTHERS? The basis for equity in God’s Judgment He gave a standard to be followed Every civilized society has only one constitution which is binding on all citizens. People are judged based on their deviation from those laws. However, the reality of our world is that such established modes of judicial system are abused by those who are highly connected to the authority. In God’s judicial system, it is not subject to any manipulative power, because God is not a respecter of persons ( ). All judgment will be based on the manual He has provided to all, which is the bible ( ). He created all and assigns people to anywhere that pleases Him. When you are appointed to a position by someone superior to you, you are subject to the authority of that person. In the same token, there is no king that comes in to power without God’s knowledge ( ). That is why God is not afraid of judging anyone because all were created by Him. Everyone we appear before the judgment seat (2 Cor. 5:9-11), your position on earth does not exclude you. Examples of leaders judged by God: Saul When Saul did not carry out God’s instruction according to specification he was judged (1 Samuel 15: 10-27). David King David is acclaimed by God as a man after his heart. When he sinned God judged him (2 Samuel 12: 7- 12). It is not too late to follow after God Hezekiah did many good things in his time (2 Chr. 31:20-21). Down the line, his heart became lifted up and wrath was looming over him but he humbled himself (2 Chr. 32:24-26). When he was sick he presented his case as having walked with God, wept bitterly and God speared him (2 Kings 20:1-6). If you keep silent about your sins, it will affect even your health, more so your chances on the Day of Judgment (Ps. 32: 3-5). The Good news If we confess our sin he will forgive us (1 John 1:9), since God already made provision for our sins, the only sacrifice which is Jesus Christ. Further reading
